Celebrating 100 years of soccer in Wisconsin.

The Wisconsin Soccer Association Inc. started in 1913 with 3 teams.

The Wisconsin Soccer Association is celebrating its 100-year anniversary in 2013. We trace our beginnings to Racine. We were privileged to join the U. S. of America Foot Ball Association in 1914. U.S. Soccer was one of the world,s first organizations to be affiliated with FIFA, soccer's world governing body, and has grown into one of the sport's organizational leaders, integrating player participation and player development into arguably the world's most successful top-to-bottom National Team program. The Wisconsin Soccer Association Inc (WSA ) has been part of that history. A few of our greatest contributions to the U.S. Soccer Federation have been to have one of our past WSA Inc. Presidents, Gene Edwards (1960-1969 ), as the President of the U. S. Soccer Federation and one of Wisconsins Hall of Fame inductees, Robert Gansler, as head Coach of the US National Team.

More to come....

September 12, 2013 - 100 years old in 2014 - The Wisconsin Soccer Association Hall Of Fame

The Wisconsin Soccer Association, Inc.'s storied history will reach a milestone in 2014. The Association, along with its Hall of Fame which it created over 31 years ago, will celebrate Wisconsin Soccer Association's 100th anniversary. This benchmark is a testament to the many people who have worked tirelessly to recognize the sport; including giving honor to the best soccer players, coaches, administrators and referees Wisconsin has to offer.

In the coming days, other organizations may claim ownership of the Hall of Fame and its landmark anniversary. These claims should be considered inaccurate as the Wisconsin Soccer Association, Inc. has created and run the Hall of Fame and its ceremonies from its inception. As the 100th anniversary approaches, the Wisconsin Soccer Association, Inc. will release details and look forward to an incredible celebration, which will include the 32nd Annual Wisconsin Soccer Hall of Fame Ceremony.

Wisconsin Soccer Association, Inc.'s Hall of Fame is and remains a committee and function of the Wisconsin Soccer Association, Inc. Any use or claim to ownership of such entity is prohibited by the Wisconsin Soccer Association, Inc. including Committee data, and other proprietary or confidential information about the nomination and induction process. In addition, the unauthorized copying or use of unauthorized committee information could be a violation of State and Federal laws. All historical records of the Wisconsin Soccer Association, Inc. Hall of Fame are the property of the Wisconsin Soccer Association, Inc. Any transfer or misuse of said property is prohibited.

Wisconsin Soccer Association owns the trade mark and any infringement is subject to treble damages, injunction and attorney fees.
